What's unique about your campus?

I think that the best thing about my school is the teaching program. I transfered to this school after two years at a community college so I haven't had the opportunity to experience much of the "college life" here. I came to this school because of their excellent program for future teachers and I have been very impressed. They work with many local schools so that we can get great hand-on experience and I feel that when I graduate I will be very prepared to handle my own classroom.

One of the best things about Texas State Universtiy is that there is always something to get involved in. Whoever you are, there is an organization here on this campus that you can fit in to. Also, the campus is very pretty and many of the buildings are close together so you usually don't have to walk far in between classes. The professors and other students here are very friendly and th night life in San Marcos is also very pleasant. The square is the place off campus where many of the bars are and it is always fun.

I love the resources that are available to us. We have computer labs that stay open all night, quiet floors in the library, a writing center, homework assistance in the library, and a list of other things. I love the wonderful resources because I've used most of them and have definitely benefited.
