Texas Tech is best known for its division 1 athletic program and for "the raider rash", which is not true.

I would say the school is best known for how reguardless of major the students come together and become great friends. When I tell people I go to Tech people will just randomly name off friends of theirs, and usually I have met the person. It is so easy to meet people on campus, you would really have to try not to make friends.

Texas Tech is best known for the great AG and Engineering departments. I'm with the AG department and I love the way subjects are explained and taught.

Texas Tech University right now in 2010 is known for lots of contoversy but it brings us closer together and binds the ties that makes the Red Raiders a close family.

Texas Tech University is known for its football, however, I know this school because of it's Computer Science program. I've heard how great it was for years and intentionally applied here as a Computer Science major.

The school , like many school ismost widely known for their football program here. On game days, the entire day town comes together to support their hometown team and present a very fun eviroment. Then when come game time just about the whole town squezzes into the stadium to watch the game and root their favorit team on.

Texas Tech is widely known for their excellent Law School, Agricultural department, and Engineering Department. They also hold themselves to high standards of acedemic integrity and honesty. The professors are well rounded and care about their students as well as helping them to achieve their highest potential.

My school is best know for our pride. We have great pride in what we do both in school and outside of school. Be it, from a football game to final exam, Texas Tech students always take pride in their ability and potential to achieve greatness. Our style of learning is unique and vast.

You need to study!! I never had to study in high school, so I thought I could get away with not studying. I was proven wrong. Along with getting in trouble with my mom, I was put on academic probation. Now, I am trying my best to raise my GPA and get back on the right track. So, read your assigned reading, complete all of your assignments, make sure to turn everything in and attend all of your classes.

My school is best known for its distinction of being the largest comprehensive higher education institution in the western two-thirds of the state of Texas. Texas Tech offers 150 undergraduate degree programs through 11 academic colleges, a graduate school and a school of law.

Texas Tech is most known for it's friendly campus. Everyone who visits feels very welcomed. It is also not a suitcase school, meaning everyone is here on the weekends and attends sporting events and so forth. I also have been told it's known to be a party school for that same reason.
