It is best known for it's football and agricultural programs.

Our school is by far best known for our excellent football team. But we also have outstanding Engineering, Business, and Nursing programs. Our communication design program is also exceptional.

Texas Regcognized and a great 5A football team, as well as an AG magnet school.

Football games, good academics, pretty campus, large campus, festivals (trail of lights) community, friends, good post graduation jobs, good food, good places on and off campus to live, students tend to be really nice and helpful and career oriented.

Going into Texas Tech all I heard about was how great the spirit of this school is and now that I am a student I would definetly say the spirit is the most memorable thing here.

I would have to say my school is best known for tradition and school spirit. Any football game you go to there is at least half the student population decked out in red and black paint and the other half is in red and black (the school colors). Regardless of whether or not the team is losing, everyone is on their feet cheering and getting the team going. It's a great experience and gives me goosebumps at every game I attend.

Tech is known for our vulgar fight song. Also our crazy fans when we rush the field after an upset. Oh and how could I forget, "raider rash". How embarassing.

Texas Tech is best known for the number of students that attend and for the quality of education provided.

The Health Science Center is know for producing great research and many students follow this path. Texas Tech is also know for football. They have a great team and this pulls many students together each weekend for this activity. The school is also known for it's Engineering department.
