The business school is a great place to learn. Im new to the major coming from a nursing student at UT so everything is a challenge to learn but its interesting information. The professors come from experience in the real world which is good to relate to. Most classes you dont have to attend and they post slides up online. But since i am a senior a lot of my upper division classes require you to come to class and participate a lot. I love the international classes i am taking because it opens up my mind to different situation and opinions of other people.

I am a very academic oriented person and i enjoyed all my courses in UTD. Marketing being a new subject for me, i learned a lot for the courses offered. This MBA degree gives me the confidence to go anywhere and do my job.

UTD is known for its great academics and accreditation and it has definitely earned that reputation. Its not a blow off school, you will learn and you'll learn a lot. But not because it's hard, but because the professors want you to learn. Most professors know you by face if not by name if you simply come to class. But if you go to office hours and talk to them they will remember you. There is an excellent opportunity to learn and do well at UTD.

I have had a lot of really great professors. They are always willing to help out and they actually care about what you get out of their class. Class sizes are fairly small. The School of Management has a really nice facility. A lot of focus is geared toward getting a job

Overall, I am very content with the classes and professors I've had at UT Dallas. The professors really know their subject, and they are very enthusiastic about teaching. They really prepare you for the "real world."
The students on campus are also great. Everyone here is very intellectual which makes classes very competitive and challenging. As a result of this, UT Dallas' academic requirements are very demanding.

Surprisingly, even my professors in my large classes remember my name. They also take an interest in how I perform and in my grades. I have found that talking to professors in their office hours helps me as well. Depending on the class, the number of hours needed to study can vary.

Surprisingly, my professors in my large business classes know my name. I am even one of the more quiet less interactive students that you will encounter.
I find students take pride in their grades and studies here at UT Dallas. The intellect of the average student here is very high.

Some of the general education courses are really too large for that personal feel, but that is generally the way it is at all schools. Once you begin to get into your major classes, especially your upper level, things thin out and there is plenty of room for one on one.

The Business School is geared toward getting a job. They hold career fairs and have helpful staff in the career center.

CLasses are interesting and provide a great learning channel.

Curriculum at par with the best in business. Advantage of 16 month full time MBA program. Cost advantage with a great value for money. Class participation is excellent with students from diverse backgrounds. Professors are excellent and come with industry perspective and foster a healthy discussion.

There exist many different class sizes. Typically, the higher up in education as you go, the smaller the class size and the better a professor is able to make sure everyone is learning. In the lower-level classes, usually it's a professor lecturing, but as you progress, the more the students have the confidence to participate, so it only gets better.

Project management, Global Business, Information enabled supply chains, Negotiation and dispute resolution are some of the best and unique courses I have taken so far. In most of the classes we usually use case studies and do group projects and that creates a wonderful environment across the campus for intellectual discussion.
One more thing I like about UTD is its tuition fess structure. We have four year fixed tuition plan and that helps us to manage our funds. Career center support us in very effective manner and help us to get a internship and Full time jobs.

Excellent school for academic achievement. The professors are very knowledgeable, the staff is friendly, and the students work together towards a common goal. There is a high level of professionalism maintained at all levels. One of the things that stands out is how the school's programs encourage a hands-on approach as opposed to the traditional in-theory only. Many of the classes focus on real life situations and case assessments to enhance student's abilities. If you're into research and innovation - this is the school for you!

The learning environment established by our professors stresses classroom participation and results in some lively, motivating verbal exchanges. I am in the MS AIM program and find the students to be highly competitive; everyone wants an "A." That competitiveness drives us all to work harder, learn more and achieve better grades. I credit UTD's stringent entry requirements for the high quality of the students with whom I come in contact.

Professors know your name if you come to class and participate! Class participation is very common, what I loved was that if you did not understand something, you could just ask in class, if you still did not understand, you could go to thier office during office hours and the Professor would help you! I did not have one professor that was a jerk, think about that! Not one. I had many classes with group projects where you were graded both as a group and as an individual; this is good becuase if there is a slacker, they get found out. Students are competive, but with themselves, I would describe them as more cooperative with each other. The education at UTD is geared toward getting a job and being good at it once you are out there!
