In addition to academics, the culture at UT Dallas really speaks to me. The university’s diverse and inclusive community fosters collaboration and innovation. I love that students here are known for being driven, yet supportive of one another. There's a creative energy on campus—whether it's through student-led organizations, entrepreneurship initiatives, or cultural events—that I want to be a part of. Lastly, the city of Richardson and the surrounding Dallas area provide access to a thriving tech and business scene, which means more opportunities to gain experience, network, and prepare for life after graduation. The campus' aspect and the focus this university has on STEM careers is incredible. Along with the fact their criminology and Criminal Justice program is rated the #1 in North Texas is admirable.

It is a good school with a lot of opportunities to meet people. The food is quite diverse and if you do not want to eat at the dining hall, you could go to some of the other establishments like Chick-fil-A, Papa John, or even Taco Bell, we even have our own Starbucks.

Great! I visited twice, and those visits helped me make the decision to pick them as my prospective school. Now that I've been accepted, I like everything that I see, especially for my major, and also appreciate the relatively inexpensive tuition there.

UT Dallas is an impressive institution, particularly known for its strong STEM focus. Continuing, the faculty at UTD are not only knowledgeable but also actively engaged in their fields, often bringing real world experience to the classroom. UTD also offers a myriad of extracurricular activities and organizations, which allow students to explore interests outside of their academic pursuits.

UT Dallas is by far the best college in North Texas, and among the top colleges in Texas. I've never been to a place that's more communal. Nobody would feel left out here because everyone on campus makes you feel like you belong . I have seen that in UTD, there is many hard working and engaging professors that do whatever is possible to help students succeed.

I think its a decent university but there are a lot of crappy professors especially in computer science. Also the campus life is... not alive. There is almost never any events or stuff happening on campus so it can get really boring living there. Also UTD is very expensive for no reason and the facilities and quality of education don't reflect the high tuition and housing costs.

UTD is a good school if you want to focus on STEM or business. There aren't many options for anything else. The professors aren't the best but there are some good ones. Depending on your major you'll see your classes being taught by graduate students, which isn't bad if they're organized. I've had some really good graduate students teach my classes and some bad ones. Most of my professors have been from different countries which has made understanding a bit hard sometimes. Most of them will have no problem with someone asking them to repeat themselves. However, the majority of students won't speak up. Activities and extracurriculars are limited. Although people will say there are many to join that's simply not true. Although there's a lot, most organizations are very academic-based or for a specific audience. It's difficult to find something lighthearted and fun to join. Overall, it's a good school but I think it's important to look at different options before deciding on UTD.

I like it a lot, met really cool people and there is always someone with a similar interest as you. We get a rep for not being a "party school" but people who say that legit don't leave their houses or are banned from certain orgs than have parties 💀

UTD doesn't have a typical college experience, which can either be a pro or con depending on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a bog party scene or just a huge campus/school in general, it may not be the place for you. But if you are searching for a low key environment at a mid sized school to focus on academics and extracurriculars, it might be a great fit. Especially if you want to study anything in math, science, technology, or business.

The University of Texas at Dallas has been a challenging experience so far. My freshman year was a tough time for me due to the preparation it takes to succeed at UTD. Honestly, I had no clue because High School was relatively easy for me but it all changed my freshman year at UTD. There are many people you will see that have an extensive background academically which will be intimidating at first but as long as you change any bad habits and schedule study hours everything will go smooth.

The University of Texas at Dallas offers a very strong Engineering Program that I am very interested in. It also offers multiple activities outside of class which are very cool and plan to join. The campus is very nice and can't wait to be on it. The community here is also very nice and everyone supports each other to be better people, which I like a lot.
