My school is very friendly and everyone is easy to get a long with. The workload is fairly easy which makes it nice, however it at times can be to much like high school. Also, it is very cheap to attend which makes it a great fallback plan.

The best thing about my school is how laid back it is, without being a "slacker school". The classes are challenging material wise, but there is little emphasis on "busy work"- silly assignments or projects that don't teach anything to the student. All the assignments are meant to provide a better understanding of the subject, and that is very important to me.

I like the freedom to choose which classes to take, when I want to take them. Understandably there are core classes required for graduation, however; I can take these classes when I wish. I also enjoy the classes that are offered, though I am saddened to see I can't take a message therapy class.

The best thing about my school for me personally, is that it's close to home. I don't have to pay expensive housing or out-of-state fees. It allows me to have a school life while also having a normal life (I can start of my life while still going to school for my degree). It's also in the most beautiful state.

I think the best thing is that there is a school in Alaska that offers classes that teach about the multi dimensional problems that Alaska has. It has been a state for 50 plus years and still has many problems. This college realizes that and offers classes to help people overcome these circumstances in the real world.

Class times are arranged in such a way that students can have full-time jobs and be full-time students.

I love how accessible the student activities are here and how there is an activity for every interest. The dorms are wonderful and private especiall compared to my other university.

It's a great school to attend for the first couple of years. It helps get you on your feet and ready for college. Its a great school if you grew up in Alaska and dont want to move too far away for the first few years.
