The University of Arizona is best known for all of the research that they contribute. They are also known for being somewhat of a party school. Not only are the students smart, but they like to have fun as well.

Academically, our school is known for it's Mars Rover mission and it's Aerospace, Mechanical, Optical, and Computer engineering programs that helped build the rover. The university also excels in business with one of the top programs in the country, and with its medical/nursing program that trains students right on campus at the University Medical Center. Non-acedemically, Arizona is known for its warm weather, chill social atmosphere, and numerous parties. Many students here come to the University just to continue school, get away from parents, and enjoy life. The academic focus gets lost frequently.

The University of Arizona is best known for its prideful students, alumni and staff. The school spirit at Arizona has made me feel like I am a part of a unique community of people both similar and different from me. U of A is not so small that I see the same faces all the time and not so big that I never see the same person twice. As a result, a network of people is formed who are all rooting for the same team on the field and in the classroom.

University of Arizona is best known for its Medical program. U of A's Med program has state of the art technology and is one of the top teaching and learning Med programs in the country. I personally have sat in on lectures from attendants at the UMC and it is amazing to see the technology and the mechanical techniques that go into fixing an error in the human body. The astounding work done at UMC is written up and acknowledged by many across the US, as can be seen with the current tragedy with Governor Giffords.

This university has been rated as one of the top universities in the nation demonstrating excellent medical research and pharmaceutical sciences. Their nursing programs are excellent as well as their art college which has too been ranked one of the best among the nation. Students here are friendly and dedicated to their studies and there is always teacher to student outreach no matter what. This University promises students a well taught education and a path to a life time full of opportunities.
