University of Arizona Top Questions

As a student who is very interested in doing research related to my career goals, I'm really impressed with the University of Arizona's reputation as a leading research facility in the Southwest. The faculty here are always willing to interact with undergraduates on research projects. There is no doubt in my mind that I will have gained plenty of career-related experience by the time I graduate.

The best thing about my school is the location and the independence. No matter how much I complain about the hot weather that is in Arizona, I'm glad we don't have massive snow storms. It would be nice to have snow, but I'm already cold enough in the winter without it. Also, I love the independence. In high school, you're watched like a hawk, but in college you can do what you want when you want; however you can't break the law.

The best thing is that there is always something to do. Something is going on everyday that is interesting and free to check out for the most part.

The best thing about this school is the diverse academic majors that are available. It is nice to be able to explore and change my major as I go to better fulfill my life in a career that I will enjoy.

What I like best about the University of Arizona is its culture. Tucson is a very culturally rich city, and the university reflects that.

The best thing about UofA is that both students and faculty are very approachable and there isn't extreme pressure to graduate in exactly four years. They do a great job of catering to each students individual goals and dreams and there are many excellent resources in our grasp to help us achieve those goals.

I think the best thing about my school is the atmosphere. It is closely knit and I feel like I belong here. I like the varied landscape of the campus community because it gives you a bit of nature to feel more comfortable.

The school has great academic programs and is very diverse. Although the school is overcrowded, the people are friendly. The instructors try ot make class interesting and are almost always available.

The focus on academics, everyone is here for a reason and we all help each other to suceed.

The best thing is being able to meet different people because it's interesting to meet someone totallly opposite from you, but yet in the end you become very good friends.
