I love the University of Arkansas. Coming from Oklahoma, a lot of people wonder why I chose to go to the University of Arkansas. For some reason people in OK often times express a negative opinion toward AR education. However, I believe they are simply ignorant, and I know I am receiving a wonderful education from the University.

I love the atmosphere on campus and how beautiful it is and all of its buildings. I love walking to the bus stop bc it has an amazing view of Fayetteville.

Anna

arkansas is just the right size, not too big, not too small

Claire

SOOOO FUN!!! Great friends and everyone makes you feel at home. Fayetteville is such an awesome and beautiful place. It feels like you are part of a family.

Taylor

The absolute best thing about Arkansas is the Arkansas Razorbacks. Every student on campus has a special place in their heart for all the sports teams.

Ashley

I love Arkansas. The campus is beautiful, and I love that it is a walking campus. I HATE the parking around campus however. There is not enough parking and the school is growing and they are not building enough parking for the growth. Personally, I do not want to school to get any bigger. I think it is the perfect size! There is a ton of school pride here at Arkansas!!!

I love going to the University of Arkansas! One of my favorite things about the U of A are our amazing athletic facilities. I love attending all of the games, and we all take great pride in having some of the best facilities in the nation!

katie

I feel that u of a is a good size school. its good because it is a state school but not to overwhelming. The greek life is huge at the U of A, and everyone seems to love our college town of fayetteville. go hogs!

Jenny

Campus safety is terrible.

Andrea

The school size is just right! i love how when i walk to class i always see people that i know, but it's not like i know every single person! Sports are very controversial here and i wish that we were better!

Brittany

I really don't like Arkansas that much. Its just not the same from the schools in Texas. People from Texas seem to be a lot nicer than the people from here. I don't like how the school will ticket and tow over everything. I will be parked outside for 5 minutes so I can run inside my dorm and by the time I come out, my car is gone. Over all this is has been the worst first experience I could have imagined. I am hoping to transfer.

Meagan

I have had a very positive experience so far at the U of A. I feel like the school is just the right size. It is small enough to be connected to professors but big enough to always have something going on, on campus.

Alex

I love the campus here and everything about it. It's so pretty and such a great college town.

Katie

The best thing about the U of A is that it has such a southern charm. People are very plesant to eachother and are very caring. The involvment on campus is very large and the students represent the HOG very well!

Charlie

Arkansas has a beautiful campus and very friendly people. It is really easy to meet people because things are always going on in campus. Also, there are great parties!

ashley

I love Arkansas's spirit. The whole atmosphere of being a Razorback is exciting! I would change parking--we DEFINITELY need more parking and obviously bigger dorms. I think we should expand our campus! I think my school is just right. I could deal with a bigger school, but definitely not a smaller one. I like to be around a lot of people--there's always a possibility of meeting someone new :). People don't really react a certain way when I tell them i attend the U of A. I spend most of my time at my sorority house or at the Grad Ed building.. now that I'm getting into my major classes. I don't go to the library much to study because I think it's TOO quiet. Definitely a college town + more. There are plenty of activities that college students love, and there are also thousands of family homes. The biggest recent controversy that I know of is the recycling rule thing. I don't know much about it. I think Arkansas pride is tip top. I absolutely love going to football games and being decked out in red! Hog fans are the best fans. I will always always remember my experience at the U of A. I will always remember the gorgeous campus, the awesome football stadium, going to baseball games, living in Reid (all-girl dorm), the awful weather change... etc. I think what I will always cherish is my time in Delta Delta Delta. Being in a sorority has helped me realize how lucky I am to have a stable, loving, Christian family. I have become more open-minded to others, and I have also become more confident in myself and standing up to others for what I believe in.

Our school's a good size, not extremely large, but definately not little. No one really cares about Arkansas, it's just...Arkansas. Noone from too far away really wants to come here, because of the state's stereotypes. It's definately a college town, Dickson Street's a big deal. But there's really not too much to do there at night unless you can get into the bars. If you go to Arkansas, you ARE a RAZORBACK. There is SO MUCH school spirit here during football season, even if we this year or that year, or you've never been into football or school spirit before. You become a Freshman at the UofA and you know the big player names, and you wear red and white to games. You call the hogs all the time, even unnecessarily, like at a house party, where everyone's drunk, or for the latest band at a concert to come back out. It's pretty ridiculous and silly, but it shows so much pride in the Hogs. Most people spend free time sitting at the Greek Theater on nice days, or playing frisbee on Old Main Lawn. We can't wait for a snow day, or night, so we can take our cafeteria trays and sled down the Dixon Street hill, next to the Greek Theater. Or they go up to Wilson Park, and hang out there.

Arkansas is a beautiful campus that is just the right size. It is also in the center of a college town that get into and supports the school events.
