I am a Physics major, and I am also in the Honors program. If I had to describe my classmates in one word, I would say "MALE." As a girl, after the Fall 08 semester I will be the only undergraduate female in the department. The Physics department is great, though - they do everything they can with the resources/funding they are given, and they really care about their major students. Sometimes, my classmates are unmotivated and skip lectures and labs, but for the most part (often with some encouragement from me) they come to classes, work together, and succeed.
