University of Denver Top Questions

It seems, from my conversing with people around the area and from other Colorado schools, that DU is seen to be rather prestigious, as it's harder to get into. Also, we're well-known for our law program and our large number of business major, and sometimes my school tends to be associated with wealth, as you generally need a lot of money to go here. It is true that many of my fellow classmates are rather wealthy, but funding the majority of my education with grants, loans, and scholarships, it's a stereotype with which I disagree.

The hockey team is great, but I think it's the relaxed attitude of the students. Also, having the mountains near by, DU is known for going off to ski on the weekends.

Our school is best known for the business school, the daniels school of buisness has a large following and people from all over come specifically to attend this school.

Expensive tuition and fees, and the tuitions are much more expensive than the education.

The University of Denver is known for high academic standards in all areas, as well as a focus on personal development. The biggest focal points are our hockey team, the business school, and our law school. However, excellence is something the university acheives in other athletics and in all campus schools/departments.

My school is best known for the business school, The Daniels School of Business. It is third in the nation and is dedicated to keeping itself at that level.

It is best known for its business program as well as its study abroad program. They have a ton of locations you can study abroad and it doesn't cost more than the tuition for the school.

Two of the things I paid attention to the most when first looking into University of Denver was the Business Program and the fitness and athletics of the school. I was really nervous about not going to a school with football but DU hockey definitely picks up the slack. This year we had 6 NHL draft athletes, which is incredible. The Business school is also one of the top in the nation! There are so many opportunities through it, you could never go wrong being a business major!
