The only kind of person who shouldn't attend this school is someone who isn't motivated or someone who doesn't care. It takes a lot of work to keep up with school and it takes a lot of dedication, so I think that someone shouldn't be here unless they really want an education. Otherwise, they would be wasting their time and their instructors' time.

Prospective students who are looking at the University of Florida should consider that the university is not a easy. Students who did not do the assignments, did not study for exams, or do not care about their education should not attend this university. University of Florida is not only a tough school to get into, it is hard work once you are in. For students who are looking to breeze through college and not having to worry about assignments/projects/exams, then University of Florida is not a option for them.

If you are the type of person who is overwhelmed by a big campus and the large class sizes that we have, you should not attend this school. If you are not use to studying a lot and cannot commit to studying a lot, you should not come to this school either. Yes, the University of Florida is known to be a party school, but if you do not know how to balance school and fun, then you should not come to this school.

Everyone should try to attend this school; it provides an atmosphere that encourages your growth and abilities. I suppose, though, if a student is not serious than the University of Florida might not be the best school; however, anyone should attend if they are able.

I believe that a person that is not dedicated should not attend the University of Florida. The professors and work load are intense and believe that every student should be dedicated and want to succeed. If the student does not have the same attitude, UF would not be a school they should attend.

Someone that should not attend this school would be someone that is close-minded, not open for change, and anti-social. The University of Florida takes pride in tradition and spreading the Gator Nation and if you don't want to share in this legacy, then this school is not for you. Also, people that don't like the heat, because it gets really hot here in Florida in the Swamp. So somone would have to be prepared with summer clothes almost all year around.

The person who should not attend this school is someone who needs a smaller campus and needs more individualized attention.

I've observed some students who have come to this school and within their first semester or year end up dropping out because they lost track of their academics and focused on partying or socializing more. A student who is not albe to discipline themself to stay on track with their classes and time manage socializing, work and academics should not attend the University of Florida, since it is a fun but challenging school at the same time.

People who like a big city environment will have a difficult time here, because even though the school is large, that's all there is in this town.

UF is not a good place for very conservative, close minded, easily offended individuals. A lot of crazy stuff goes on. It is full of nature loving, hippie, liberals who like to party and follow "alternative paths" religiously, sexually, etc.

People who don't like to think outside of the box or make an attempt to be open minded. People who don't see college as an opportunity to grow and people who do not want to get sucked it to the school because it will suck you in for life!
