What should every freshman at University of Idaho know before they start?

Take your core classes first and explore all your options before deciding upon your major. Talk to everyone and anyone you meet about what they are doing and what there desires are and you will increase your wisdom about what you want from college. You may very well find out that what you thought you wanted was not what you found you love. I started with Psychology major then changed to Philosophy and in the process have found that my true calling was to write and English is what I enjoy the most. I started writing a book and realized that English was what I loved in the end. Don?t lock yourself into something, just let it flow and grow with you as you learn and become who you are going to be. You have time, don?t rush it, have fun and try everything the University has to offer you. I discovered who and what I truly am at the University of Idaho, even at the age of 48 I found out it is not to late to change. College is the best place to discover yourself and decide what to do with your life.
