The best thing about my school is its diversity and the acceptance of diverse people. There's always something to do here or someone to hang out with. Most importantly, no one truly criticizes you for being different. Everyone is quite open, which is the best thing about UK.

The best aspects about the University of Kentucky (UK) are the opportunities to meet new people around campus and solidify one's identity. UK's diversity and magnitude of people from different areas across the Midwest United States offers any student the chance to interact with people from different social backgrounds and build new friendships inside the classroom and out. There are many different student organizations ranging from Student Government to the Greek community that can facilitate new encounters and help establish one's goals and personal outlook on their career.

The sports. I am a huge sports fan, and it was one of the leading factors for why I came. The sport teams at University of Kentucky are quality and provide fun activities.

UK is an amazing school. Every aspect from academics to athletics is great, but the best thing I like about UK is it feels like I'm part of a large people. I definitely feel at home there and I feel like the school is helping me grow and learn in a safe, comfortable, enjoyable environment.

I consider the many services to assist students in their studies the best thing about UK. Every college has a specific tutoring area of some sort, and many have several. There is also never a shortage of tutors around campus, and the professors don't mind working with you on problems during their office hours, and seem to really care. The fact that there are so many ways that a student can get help is in itself encouraging, because it makes you feel like everyone WANTS you to succeed in all that you do.

There are so many amazing things about Kentuky. One of the best things I would have to say about it is the insane school pride. Athletics are huge here, and the whole community and even state gather around to support our athletes and our school. It is just a really fun atmosphere, and it is the epitome of what college should be like. Friends and family, the sea of blue pride, and tons of laughter and good times. Everyone at Kentucky really seems to bleed blue. Even if you don't like sports, theres so much to do.

The best thing about my school is its basketball team and the enthusiasm surrounding the program. Ranked number one in the SEC, the Wildcats have a 19-1 record . Unfortunately, tonight we lost our first game to South Carolina, very depressing. Students get tickets by a lottery system. Thousands of people wait in line to get even one ticket. Most students waiting in line don?t get tickets. So far the lottery has been worth the wait. You are considered crazy if you have never been to a game. This year I got Erupption Zone tickets! It is so fun!!!

The best thing about the University of Kentucky, in my opinion, is the people. Kentucky is already a diverse state and the majority of the colleges and universities in this state are no different. Not only are there so many people from different backgrounds, religions and races but there are over 300 clubs, activities, frats and sororities, etc. It's like there is a place for everyone and I just love that feeling. It's impossible to come to UK and not find a group of people that you will automatically click with.
