liberal, diverse, career oriented.

miami's campus is super diverse. there are groups dedicated to every ethnic group and cause. its really great. students were to class everything from pajamas to business suits. miami students are about 40{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} from florida and the rest out of state, mostly new-england, new york area, but you meet people from everywhere. politically, i'd say most are liberal and fairly active, especially about the environment. but there is also a vocal conservative group as well.

My classmates are extremely friendly. There is a lot of diversity and many mixed ethinicities at my school, and I believe that makes it easier for people to open up and get to know other people who are different than themselves. My classmates are always willing to help out with notes or homework that I miss or don't understand.

My classmates are intelligent, career-focused individuals thats mostly come from wealthy families and are looking towards medical or law school.

The people who go to the University of Miami are very different culturally, but besides a few exceptions, the students are socially the same: they have a never-ending desire to escape reality with alcohol and clubbing and do not even understand what it is like to want to learn for the sake of learning something, because for them, if you can pass a class with a B, your life is made.

Most of my classmates are driven individuals that are willing to work with others in order to get a good grade: I guess the philosophy around here is that we can all do well.

There is a large variety of students that attend the school, however a large portion of them are rich New York Jews, that can be a bit clichy. There are plenty of other really nice people though you just have to be sure to find them.
