What kind of person should attend University of Missouri-Columbia?

You must be open to a large campus with lots of students. It's overwhelming at first, but when you get used to the size, it's really not bad. You've got to be ready to work hard and not expect easy A's. The first year is the toughest to get through because of big lecture classes that you may not be interested in. After that, your classes get smaller as you get into your major and more interesting. There is a lot to do in Columbia and you must find a balance between being social and academic.

The type of person who should attend the University of Missouri- Columbia should be an open-minded person. They should be able to balance their social life with all other responsibilities. They should also be goal oriented people because this school is very strongly career focused.
