University of Missouri-St Louis Top Questions

I loved the professors at University of Missouri-St. Louis. They were easy to talk to and gave me the one-on-one attention and advice I needed. It was great to be able to explore my ideas and be given constructive feedback. Some of the questions my professors challenged me with still stick with me today.

The best thing about the University of Missouri St. Louis is the price. I attended UMSL my freshman year without taking out any loans. For the price that UMSL offers, you get a decent degree.

There are a lot of things at UMSL that tends to make us more unique than other schools. One of the rumors on campus is that one of the buildings is right by the little boys house that the Exocist was based upon. Another would be that the Provincial House used to be a seminary and a mental asylum. Since there used to be a seminary, the is a seminary graveyard within half a mile from the Residential Hall on South Campus. Last, but certainly not least are the tunnels that run underneath the Provincial House.

I love the opportunity for learning that the University of Missouri-St. Louis offers me. It seems like the students attending UMSL really want to be there. The professors are very knowledgeable and that makes me feel comfortable as a student. I feel welcome on campus.

I consider the diversity the best thing at my school. Although it is diverse, at the same time everyone is included in one way or another.

The best thing about UMSL are the way the professors make lectures seem not like lectures; they make it interesting and make sure students REALLY get what they're teaching.

Not only are the teachers extremely nice and helpful, but there are many tutors in every field of study at the university at the students' disposal. Everyone, including the advisors, are very nice and make it their goal to get you through anything whether it be the day, semester, or your entire college career.

There are many different cultural activities to participate in and the university in general is very diverse.

The best thing about my school is that it attempts to offer a variety of events, colloquiems, lectures, parties, and other things to increase participation. There usually is a poor turn-out, but they try.
