Is the stereotype of students at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill accurate?

nope. well, yes and no. there is a large greek population here but it's a 27,000 member student body so if fraternities and sororities aren't your thing you never have to go within 100 yards of frat court. UNC's diversity has become the thing i love most about this campus; the students here really range widely in just about every category imaginable. there are conservative kids but there are just as many liberal ones and we have every sort of demographic imaginable. it's like living in a new york without the rent and the traffic.

In some sororities and fraternities yes, but on the whole, no. Chapel Hill is a very down to earth place if you speak to people one on one. I'm prould to be a graduate of this prestigious university.

The majority of the students at UNC are intelligent, and a minority do overrate their intelligence. The latter stereotype is mostly true.

to a certain extent, all stereotypes are. the duke rivalry is definitely palpable on campus. a lot of students to party a lot, but there are also students that don't party at all.
