If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior there would be various things I would say. The first would be to persist in my studies, and keep up my grades my senior year. This is important in order to learn with endurance. Yet, also, I would tell myself the value of education that should be merited. It should not be an education for the sake of a degree title or monetary gain. Rather, education should be a constant learning process as well as refinement. I would tell myself that education can be used to think objectively and critically, as well as solving problems in order to find the best solution possible. However, this is only part of learning, that also, to pursue education use it to help others. Let this be a driving force for humanity rather than just for self- profit. With this in mind, do not rush into a degree simply for the purpose of income amount. Learn from different spectrums of each subject in college, and see where your gifts are. Pursue those gifts and turn it into a passion of yours in order to contribute for society.

Dear Tina, although no one in your personal life supports your dream for college. It is going to happen. Your first day of college will be traumatic, and your child will be survivor of child abuse at the hands of her father. This will delay your dream for many years, but in the years to come domestic violence for students will be addressed and you will be able to make your dreams come true, for you and your children. Do not let these traumas stop you. Because of these traumas, you will become well versed in domestic violcene and a valuable contributor to the professionals in your community on the topic. Although you feel a dim hope for your future, you are the only person that you have to depend on, and that is all you need. You will overcome with faith and fearlessness. Your dreams of college are your future reality.

I remember thinking about going to college as a high school senior and being completely overwhelmed. I didn't know what college I wanted to go to, didn't know what major I wanted, and had no idea how I was going to pay for it. Thinking about all of the details was so stressful for me that I almost chose not to continue my education. However, thankfully I did. If I could go back and give my high school self advice about attending college my advice would be to relax take things one step at a time. If you pick a major you don't like, it's not the end of the world. If you don't like the college you are going to, you can transfer. If you need help, ask for it. Make long-term plans but allow them to be flexible. Your plans are going to change and your educational and career paths might take you someplace you didn't initially plan on going. I would advise myself to work hard but to still allow myself time to have fun. After all, you're only young once.

Hi! I want you to know that college is not such a stressful place. All you have to do is stay focused and remember to focus on your goals. Your life is going to change forever, but it will be for the good. Do not let any distractions keep you from obtaining your degree. The degree will open the doors to your future and lead you to your destiny. Be strong and know that you can do all things! Never give up and never give in. It is okay to get tutuoring and help from classmates, they are there for the same reason as you. You can do it!

If I could go back in time, and tell my high school senior self something about college life and the transition, I would have to say to put my whole heart and soul into it. College takes dedication, responsibility, and a passion to learn. I feel as though my first time attending college right out of high school, I did not have the dedication or passion to pursue furthering my education. I let myself get distracted with my social life, and my grades suffered because of that which is one of my biggest regrets in life.

The advice I would give myself would be that I need to work hard. In order to achieve greatness I must earn it and put time and effort into my education. I would also tell myself is to take a break from school and work and live life a little bit. My life is consumed by school and my job. I am a full time student at Snead State Community College and I work thirty hours or more so I can pay for college. It has been hard trying to juggle everything but I wish I made time to be a teenager and make time for my friends and family. I would tell myself to not give up and strive for the best but also take a minute and enjoy life.

The end of highschool is just the begining of your learning process. Stay in school, take your grades seriously, and never think you are a failure. Take the good with the bad. Know that you are important and you will make a difference in the world!

I would tell myself that life is precious and to enjoy every second of it. I would tell myself that everything isn't set in stone the way that you think it is. Be open to new adventures and don't shy away from something or someone just because it's unfamiliar. I would tell myself to be more openminded and to learn to trust people easier because that's the only way to make a lasting relatioship with someone. Sometimes I wish I could go back and just give a good shake to the person I was and make myself wake up to the possibilities around me and to not be so afraid. I would tell myself that there is no difference really between high school classes and college classes except in terms of responsibility. You are responsible for your own destiny and life is what you make of it.

If I could go back in time to tell my high school self anything, i would definetly tell him to keep going, don't wait to start college, don't take time off to relax because life is going to shove you in very difficult directions and "coming back to it later" is going to be a statement that you will regret. Life is good now, but had you started sooner things could be a lot smoother than they are. I know you're unsure about a career path but look deep into your heart and do something that you'll love, something that when you wake up in the morning to get ready you'll feel a strong smile crawl across your face, not a groan and the thought of rolling over and going back to sleep seeming like the better option.
