USC has a lot of tradition and is a really diverse school where I think anyone can find their niche and feel comfortable.

USC is a big school in a city full of materialism. This school can expose you to many different things if you came from a sheltered background. USC isn't perfect but that's for everyone to judge.

"We are SC" chants and SoCal spell-outs make my year.

I initially came to SC because I got waitlisted at my No. 1 school (Columbia), and had plans of transferring. After the first semester, I could not believe how stupid I had been to not put SC as my No. 1 the whole time during my college selection process. For anyone who is unsure of the school--GO VISIT. EVERYONE LOVES IT, from trustee, triple major Harvard-law accepted nerds, to beautiful LA born blonde sorority girls, everyone seems to rally around the school and really makes it a part of who they will be for the rest of their life.

SC' is great. There is so much to do all the time. You have no reason to be bored unless you are a boring person. People are pretty nice and open minded here in L.A. (compared to Texas) so getting out there and meeting people is on you. It is unlikely that you will be shunned by anyone. Also they film a lot of TV shows and commercias at USC so keep a camera handy. I got to Meet Alexis Bleidel from Gilmore Girls. I saw Carmen Electra on campus. The used to film the O.C. here, CSI, the list goes on and on. L.A. weather is kind of unpredictable. It isn't sunny all the time like they say on T.V. It fluctuates constantly within a single week. Bring something for every season.

USC is the best college ever!!! FIGHT ON!!! You will not regret coming here at all!

Not a very sexy campus, but looks great and has lots of shaking asses going on.
Lots of opportunities to serve the community at large (do it!), like JEP and Trojan Knights and Helenes.
Real generous financial aid. DOn't rule out USC just because you may be poor. If you belong here, they'll make sure you can afford it.

USC provides great oppurtunities and are really focused on preparing students for the workforce. They are active in placing students in internships and have a couple job fairs throughout the year. One reason I enjoy USC is that the campus is very active. Every day there is something new going on, whether it be dance performances, a band playing near Tommy Trojan, a commerical being shot or rallies and luncheons.

I love USC. It's one of my favorite places in the world and I am going to miss it dearly when I graduate. I have made some of the best friends I could ever have while here and I know that I will keep these friends forever.
