People who are not academically driven or interested in extra curricular activities.

A person with no motivation to do great and change the world should not attend the University of St. Thomas. St. Thomas is a great place to receive an education so if you don't take school seriously then St. Thomas is not for you. The school I attend is a private school that offers many great opportunities especially if you are going into business because St. Thomas is associated with many well known corporations. A person who attend St. Thomas must be ready to seize the opportunities that are presented to them without hesitation.
Teresa
Someone very artistic and against the catholic church (since 3 theology classes are required).
Ben
Someone who likes a very large University should not attend this school. The class sizes here are very small, which is preferable to some, but not all. Also, if you really hate cold weather, any school in Minnesota is a poor choice. However, there is a descent tunnel system on campus so avoiding the cold is somewhat possible.
Jason
The kind of person who should not attend this school is the kind of person who does care about his or her intellectual growth. Many of the instructors at this school encourage their students to take an interest in the course even if the course is not included in the requirements for the students major. Many students do not appreciate an instructor who does this, but if those students feel that way they should attend a different university.
Madeleine
Someone who is looking for a bad college experience should not attend this school.
Nicole
If you are unsure of your major I don't reccomend this school because it does cost a a lot, but there are various scholarships to obtain. If you don't like a small community or the city life I would not reccomend St. Thomas.

Students that shouldn't attend the University of St. Thomas are lazy ones that think their work will get done for them. These teachers are tough and will flunk you. Nobody wants to be flunked because it's expensive to attend college. Also, students that think college is just about partying shouldn't come here either because they will be greatly disappointed.
Trevor
Someone who isn't prepared to apply 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of their academic abilities because the course work here is notoriously rigorous. Also, the university requires all students to go through a liberal arts foundation of classes. This includes subjects many other colleges don't require such as philosophy, fine arts, sociology, and theology. The idea is to provide you with a well-rounded education, but it also gives you great practice at working hard towards something you may not find particularly strong interest in.
Daniel
A student looking for a free-pass throughout college. Students who are undriven, unenthusiastic, and unwilling to put in the effort to further themselves not just through college, but through life.
