Villanova University Top Questions

Is the stereotype of students at Villanova University accurate?

Allison

for the majority, yes

Ryan

I guess to some extent. They wouldn't be stereotypes if they weren't somewhat true. Most of the people at Villanova are really nice and genuinely good people though.

Devin

no, villanova is extremely fun if you make it fun which is how every school is, so maybe they don't have a row of frat houses on campus so you can go partying but doing that isn't necessary for fun. And everyone is not rich.

Rob

No, there is some diversity although not that much. Also, there is plenty of fun to be had.

Jessica

overall, villanova is a relatively wealthy school that is certainly predominately white, although the diversity on campus has increased over the past few years. the party stereotype is not as accurate, villanova is probably right on par with most schools in that department. the upcoming election has really sparked a lot of political conversation and surprisingly, there are a lot more democrats than i thought on campus.

Kelly

only a small minority

Lauren

Sometimes

Becca

Only a small percentage fill this category.

Hayley

as far as appearances go, yes.

Daniel

Yes and No. There are two halfs to the Villanova Community. One half is exactly like the stereotype, preps who do nothing at villanova but party for four years. But there is another half that do everything at nova from break trips to the villanovan to special olymipics and balloon day.
