At first I could see how the first stereotype is true, but I think that that is true of all places; there are always going to be people that are snobby. For the most part, I've met absolutely amazing and caring people that completely defy that stereotype. It's true that there is a lot of affluence which is pretty visible, but the people are really what have drawn me into loving Villanova and seeing it as a perfect fit.

Maria

The preppiness factor is definitely true. Many people dress up simply to go to class, although it has been diminishing over the years. I do not find the snobbiness factor to be accurate. Most of the Villanova students are very friendly, helpful, and always looking to be involved.

Pat

accurate for about 70{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the campus

Joe

Not entirely. In previous years it has been prominent but it seems as though the stereotypes are decreasing.

Kim

Yes, theres a bit more diversity now with the upcoming class, but all I see still are the same kids with their Vineyard Vines belts and Polos.

Jay

Mostly

Villanova is mostly white. Unfortunately it is not very diverse. There are fun things to do at Villanova but they may not be as available as other schools. You can find cool people and fun things to do. I don't think anyone intentionally goes to college to find a husband but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.
