I do not know the worst thing about my school because I have not been for even a day.

The way that the history instructors are lacking in teaching information. They simply assign a veriety of fictional books and treat the class more like a book club and ask how students felt about the book. An example was when we read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. The class was a 17th century history class, we did not cover anything of significance, we simply chatted about the books we read each week. It was a complete waste of time and money. The class became a joke to some and annoyed others.

The worst thing about my school is how expensive it is. I have always looked forward to attending college but the expenses put a lot of pressure on my mom, who is a single parent. Not only is the tuition expensive but so are other things around the school such as the bookstore. I have met a lot of people at the school who love it including myself, however, some students do not continue their education there becuase of the expenses at Virginia Wesleyan.

There is nothing I would call the worst thing at my school. I just wish we had better activities.

Due to the nature of the current online program structure, there is only an opportunity for strong writers to really show their knowledge and skills due to the nature of the discussion questions and project assisgnments as the requirements. Out of the 8 classes I have taken online, none of them have had any forms of testing or exams and feedback from professors is minimal if existant at all. The professors do not have any lectures or personal or professional experience that is contributed. The professors only grade work and compliment students work.

Our school has a problem with internet connections throughout the dorms across campus. This is a frustrating thing to deal with simply because most college student like to do their homework in their rooms, but here at Virginia Wesleyan, students have to fight for a computer in order to complete and submit their assignments.

The worst thing about my school is the area in which it is located becuase down the street is a 711 and there were shootings there in the past and recently. It's not safe to travel outside of the school at night alone. Also, the tuition is pretty high and itsn't reasonable especially if you're living on campus and paying for housing.

The worst aspect of my school is the information available to commuter students. I am a commuter student and I am not informed on information involving commuters.

There are very few things I find bad about my school. However, if I ever had to pick one, it would be the food because sometime it can become repetitive and boring.

The worse thing about VWC is that the cost is a little high. Money is hard to come by, but I know it will be worth it in the end.

I consider the worst thing about the school is that we are unable to live off campus and that there is a residential requirment that says we must live on campus for all 4 years here while at this college.

Most of the students belong to athletic teams, so they carry themselves as more superior.

I would have to say the worst thing about my school is the food. I am a commuter so I do not have a meal plan or anything like that, but I am in school for a number of hours every day and have to eat there. The food available for commuters could really use some improvement. I would like to see more quality options.

The worst thing about this school is that students who are non-commuters must live on campus. This is a problem because they do not have enough housing, especially for women. For the 2012 Fall semester, sophmores had to be placed in the freshman housing because of a lack of dorm space. Because of these circumstances, the college will end up placing people in a hotel that is within walking distance of the school.

The worst thing about this school is that is far away from home, so I dont get to see my family that often. It could be a little bigger. I kind of feel like im in high school where everyone knpws pretty much everyone. Other than that its a great school.

I think the worst thing about my school is the fact that there are not alot of majors to choose from. I also think they neglected black history month to the fullest.

I would consider the worst thing about myu school is the school-housing for students. We have limited availability and it is grade level oriented, which means seniority comes chooses first, which leaves other students unsatisfied.

Professors always expect you to attend class, and because it is such a small school, they know when you miss class. However, I feel as though this is college and you are paying to go to school, so if you are caught up in the class room and doing well academically, you should be able to skip an acceptable amount of classes as long as work is still being completed and exams/tests still come easy to you.

Our school is small and therefore, some students seem to feel embarrassed about attending. So, occasionally one can feel a general air of needing to be reassured that our school is a good one after hearing comments such as, "Nobody actually wants to go here."
