We do not have a football team.

All schools will have negatives about them, at Virginia Wesleyan I think the up-keep of the buildings is one of the largest concerns. Buildings including dorms and classrooms are not cleaned well, in addition to being old. This environment I feel is very unpleasant at times, and decreases learning.

The traffic surrounding.

The worst thing about this school is the cost of the tuition, even though I feel it is worth the money. I think that it should be a little lower because this is the main reason why most of the students who come here do not continue their education here.

I really can't think of anything, since every aspect of my experience has really been very positive.

I feel the worst thing about my school is tuition. Although good financial aid is offered and we are updated about scholarships, grants, and loans available to us, the amount that it costs to attend is still too high. I don't stay on campus because it would cost me thousands more to do so and my financial situation is not perfect. With two years left I am searching for as many scholarships and grants I can apply to in efforts to try to completely rid myself of or limit my loans since I am about 20,000 in debt.

The school does not accomidate to commuters very well.

The options of majors. i wanted to do something sports related but there arent many options for that

Sometimes the small size can be a negative attribute. It is difficult to find activities on the weekends that do not involve drinking and someitmes this can make finding a good quiet place to study difficult to accomplish.

I do not think there is anything bad about my school but that is because I am a commuter and do not have to live in the dorms. I know that many students that are residents say that there are bugs, so that would probably be the worst thing about my school.

Well, I would have to say that the worst thing about Virginia Wesleyan College, besides the cost, is that a majority of the credits do not transfer to other schools. While I do not particularly plan on transferring, I have thought about it because of financial difficulties. Besides that, I really do not have any problems here.

the cafe food; its good for orientation but after that its not the best.

The worst thing I consider about my school is that since it is a private college some of the other students choose to flaunt their parents' income in other students faces. My friends and myself sometimes feel uncomfortable that this is tolerated by other people. Attending college is about getting an education, not displaying how much money one has in his or her bank account.

It's expensive; I have trouble affording tuition sometimes.

Some of the courses the College offers seems pointless. There is no football team.

The cost and the billing sytle. One moment they say your done for the year, then something comes up or didn't go through and your SOL.

The cost. It really is a lot of money and the price seems to just keep going up but I really do love being a marlin.
