Walters State Community College is an excellent choice! Coming straight from Highschool I often worried about college. If I chose to attend a big College campus where you only saw your teachers on a projector screen. I was relieved that Walters State Community College was very small and the class room size was just perfect for me. From my very first day of college I met some great friends and even very wonderful teachers that really care and want you to do well in your classes and to be successful thought your life.

It is a friendly environment and very affordable. All of the teachers will help you with anything you need as long as you communicate and let them know.

I have tried to inform anyone I come in contact with about the Regents Online Degree Program. It is a great alternative to traditional college programs. The courses are presented in such that it easier for me to learn that actually sitting in a class room. No distractions. There is so much help available from the counselors to help you get started. I brag to them that if I can do it at 50 and a breast survivor then anyone can take classes through this program. It is just as hard as traditional courses but the support is awesome.

Walters State is a really good community college, the classes are very challenging and I have learned a lot there. The teachers are nice and they treat students with respect. I feel very safe while on campus. The advisors are sincerely interested in directing you down the right path towards reaching your educational goals. They also make transfering to any university an easy transition.

I would definitely have to say I brag about my professors quite often. My professors are very helpful, passionate about their jobs and do every to get their students interested in learning. Even if it IS a boring topic, they know how to active my mind and get me interested and excited about learning. Most of my friends attended 4-year colleges and wish they had the kind of interaction and passion for learning when they were in school like I do now.
