Any young adult who attends Washington State should remember why they are attending college. Like any college, it can be easy to forget the academic part of attending a university when there are so many extracurricular activities and social events. Focusing on grades and your future career helps you keep your priorities straight. However, college is a great learning experience outside of the classroom, too. Wanting to make new friends, learning how to fend for your self and the need to experience new opportunities are vital personality traits that a student who wants to attend Washington State should have.

At Washington State University, it would be hard to stereotype the students into a single category. Someone who should attend this school should be looking for a large school where the city is based around the school not vice versa, who is interested in multiple areas of study, who wants to have options regarding where they live, where they eat and if they want to be part of the Greek system. Categorizing the ideal person for WSU would be someone who wants to be able to make their own choices at their university.

A person who loves a smaller community that solely relies on its school spirit.

I think you need to be driven because most of the majors have a limit to how many students can get into second year classes. Being a well rounded, accepting person is important too because there are many students and facilty here that are of different races, beliefs, and backgrounds.

You would have to love being in a small town, because Pullman is no blooming metropolis. It is a college town through and through. The ideal student would need to be able to appreciate agriculture, as WSU is a land-grant university based in agricultural research. Students here are ordinary people who do honest work, so those raised on daddy's money need not apply.

Someone looking for really good college memories, most likely in a sorority or fraternity, and a degree in a popular field (communications, engineering, teaching, etc.).

A person who is not interested in the drinking crowd, because here it is very strong and will suck you in. This college is great for any one who is willing to learn. Engineering and Architecture majors fit in well here and so do buisness and nursing majors. They have an excellent research division so anyone looking into the of the sciences are a good match for this university

It really does not matter what type of person you are to attend the school. As long as you have the will to learn and interest in what type of majors and minors you are interested in. The are a vareity of classes to choose from and you just pick the ones that interest your personality or what you think you would like.

A person who should attend this school is someone who is willing to put the time and effort to get good grades and improve their future, someone who uses the money wisely for school . people should attend this school if they are dedicated and actually care.

Washington State University Vancouver is a school for the motivated and determined. This school provides the university opportunity, but also allows for students to maintain outside commitments. This school is excellent for high school graduates, for people already in the workforce, but looking to further thier education, or for the adults that want to come back to school, without having to move.

Someone who knows how to work hard, and have fun on their free time.

Someone that attends this school should be prepared to become part of a tight-knit community of life long relationships all across Washington. If you need a night life or the big city, this is the wrong place to go.

Students that want to be around mostly other students. People that are outgoing and want to have a good time, but can maintain a balance between fun and academics. A person that can regularly attend class, and can meet people to form study groups.

Any person who has a positive attitude and has the opportunity should attend WSU. I prefer to be around those with a positive attitude. Those are the people that tend to be more successful and can help you later on.

Nearly anyone can attend wsu as there are many different types of people on campus, but once on campus; whether you want to or not, you will gain a sense of cougar pride.

Anyone that wants to have fun and get a good education while avoiding high traffic and over crowded city type campuses should come to Washington State University. Also anyone who wants to feel appreciated by their fellow students and be a part of something big.

I believe that Washington State University is a school for everyone with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Anyone who is willing to challenge and push themselves to another level should attend my college. The reason I believe this is because when I was a Freshman, I was not sure about what I wanted to do. However, when I spent the time necessary to find my niche I felt like I belonged here. Students who are looking to discover themselves while getting a higher education are the best kind of people for WSU.
