Are you one of those students whose grade point average hovers between a 2.0 and 3.0 and looking for easy college scholarships? Do you dread the idea of writing long essays? Maybe you’re just an average, white male who thinks scholarship providers have passed you by. In any case, I have some great news. There are plenty of scholarship opportunities for students just like you! I’m not talking about those need-based scholarships where you have to provide proof of financial hardship or those that are awarded based on your ethnicity; these scholarship applications are all fun and simple to fill out. In fact, when it comes to easy college scholarships, these programs put the ‘ease’ in ‘easy!’
1. $1,000 Chegg Monthly Scholarship
Every month, head over to Chegg and check out the new question. You only need to provide a three-sentence response, so you can literally spend less than 5 minutes completing this application. You’ll have 12 chances to win over the course of the year, so you’re bound to get lucky at some point!
2. CouragetoGrow.com Scholarship
High school and college students with at least a 2.0 GPA can apply for this monthly $500 scholarship. Just submit a short essay (250 words or less) on the topic provided. Even if you hate writing, I’m sure you can come up with enough content to fill a paragraph. Just be sure to apply before the end of the month.
3. $2,000 No Essay Scholarship
If you truly hate writing, this easy college scholarship will help you. Hxead over to College Prowler and submit your application for this ‘no essay’ scholarship. High school and college students, as well as non-traditional students, may apply. Procrastinators take note, the next deadline is March 31, so don’t wait too long before you submit your application.
4. A GPA Isn’t Everything Scholarship
If your GPA is sinking faster than the Titanic, this may be the perfect scholarship for you. One lucky winner will receive $1,000 from Cappex for simply completing the online application and answering a few questions. Just be sure to apply before March 31, if you want to win.
5. Unigo Superpower Scholarship
Want a scholarship that is fun and easy? Here it is! Just tell us who your favorite superhero or villain is (or make one up) and you could win $2,500 for college. Just be sure your answer is in 250 words or less (a paragraph) and submit your online application before the March 31 deadline. Anyone 13 years or older can apply.
Life would be a lot simpler if we all had a magic genie to make our college expenses disappear, but unfortunately, that’s not going to happen. Hopefully, these easy scholarships will get you started and will help motivate you to try some other programs, too.
