In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must maintain a 2.5 grade point average
  2. Be diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease or Thalassemia

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: SCTPN Undergraduate Scholarships are dedicated to academic excellence and assisting young adults living with a hemoglobinopathy to continue their education. The scholarship is awarded biannually to students accepted to an accredited two or four-year college or university. Scholarship recipients can apply annually for continued assistance. SCTPN will follow undergraduate recipients throughout their college experience, provide needed support and mentoring activities.   • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
Additional Information: Spelling or grammatical errors are grounds for disqualification. And must be diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease or Thalassemia

Award Amount: $1,000 will be awarded to the chosen applicant   The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
