Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. All new first-time freshmen who apply for admission by February 1 will be considered for a scholarship.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a full-time student.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher.
  4. Must plan to attend University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Nebraska.
  5. Must be a resident of Nebraska.
  6. Must be a high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Entering freshmen who are residents of Nebraska planning to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are eligible for this award. Students must enroll full time and have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher.

Application requirements for the University of Nebraska at Lincoln Regents Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Class Rank Verification
  • Official SAT/ACT scores
Additional Information: These awards are awarded by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid on a rolling basis to fall semester applicants. Awards will be based on each applicant's academic record, including sixth semester class rank and ACT or SAT scores.

Award Amount: Full resident tuition for up to 120 credit hours, including summers (or the completion of a bachelor’s degree, whichever occurs first). Tuition, housing & meal plan and fees are approximately $21,876 in total.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $43,752.
