This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students (including entering freshmen) who are legally blind. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher, unless extenuating circumstances exist.

This award is for U.S. citizens who will be undergraduates enrolled full time in an ABET-accredited or substantially equivalent mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or related baccalaureate program in the United States in the upcoming academic year.
