  4. Must have an interest in tennis or art.

Description: The Albert R. Ochoa Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors in the Austin Independent School District who have an interest in tennis or art.

Additional Information: The Albert R. Ochoa Scholarship is provided in memory of Coach Ochoa and his career as the beloved tennis coach at Anderson High School and art teacher at Burnet Junior High. Award selection will be based on the student's demonstrated interest and proficiency in either art or tennis, as is evidenced by submitted application materials. This scholarship is administered and managed through the Austin Community Foundation. Founded in 1977, the Austin Community Foundation has expanded to combine philanthropists, community leaders, and advanced financial management technologies. The foundation works to identify and assist the local populations in greatest need through a combination of scholarships, local initiatives, and grants.
