NCAA scholarships are highly sought after, but traditional wrestling scholarships have some of the smallest recruiting budgets. There are some very competitive universities that excel at collegiate wrestling, and these school’s awards have a strong focus on an athlete’s talent and ability to impress recruiters and scouts. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and demonstrate a commitment to community service.
This award is available for graduating seniors at Littlefield High School in Littlefield, Texas. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate involvement in school or community sports.
Established in 2016, the Ramblers Scholarship supports student athletes pursuing an undergraduate education who self-identify publicly as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or intersex (LGBTQI). This scholarship is available for student athletes who identify as LGBTQI or committed LGBTQI allies.
This scholarship is open to high school seniors in the North Central Florida area (Columbia, Dixie, Marion, Alachua, Gilchrist, Bradford, Hamilton, Madison, Putnam, Suwanee, and Union counties). Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be a major contributer in their sport.
