Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must plan to major in agriculture, animal husbandry, natural resource management, pre-veterinary studies, or art.
  2. Must attend Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, DE.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must be a currently graduating high school senior.

Additional Information: To be eligible for the John M. Roca Memorial Scholarship, applicants must attend Cape Henlopen High School and demonstrate the highest levels of academic achievement. In addition, students must plan to major in agriculture, animal husbandry, natural resource management, pre-veterinary studies, or art. The Delaware Community Foundation has provided scholarships and other forms of financial assistance to deserving Delaware students since 1986. Students are encouraged to apply for any and scholarships that they are eligible for, as there is no limit on the number of awards a single student may receive. Additional information about the award may be found online at the Foundation's website, as well as at school guidance offices within the state.
