In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Women in Aerospace Foundation Scholarship is available for women who are majoring in an aerospace related field and entering their final year of undergraduate studies. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: The Women in Aerospace Foundation Scholarship is provided annually to deserving women who are majoring in a field related to aerospace engineering and technology. Applicants must be rising seniors with at least one year of study remaining and must demonstrate satisfactory academic progress with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Recipients will be selected based on a combination of all information submitted through the application, with emphasis given to students who are both academically and professionally successful, yet well-rounded. 25% of selection weighting will be based on academic transcripts, 25% will be based on the strength of recommendation letters received, and 50% will be based on the quality of the essay submission. Winners will be officially recognized during the Women in Aerospace Foundation Annual Awards Dinner in late October.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $8,000.
