Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a graduate student. The student must be in a position to accept the scholarship for the school year in which it is being awarded.
  4. Must be pursuing an M.S. degree in chemical engineering or environmental engineering. An emphasis in water and/or wastewater treatment is preferred.
  5. Must have a B.S. degree in chemical engineering or environmental engineering.
  6. Must be a female.
  7. Must enroll full time.
  8. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for U.S. graduate students who have a bachelor's degree and are pursuing a master's degree in chemical or environmental engineering; an emphasis in water and/or wastewater treatment is preferred. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: Applicants may not be current recipients of a renewable SWE scholarship or receiving full funding for education from another organization (such as members of the armed services attending US military academies and students receiving full reimbursement from an employer.) The applicant must enroll or plan to enroll in an engineering program accredited by ABET. Accreditation status for degree programs at specific schools can be found at main.abet.org/aps/Accreditedprogramsearch.aspx.

Award Amount: $6,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,500.
