In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for financially needy Maryland undergraduate sophomores who are pursuing science, technology, engineering, or math degrees at accredited U.S. institutions. The scholarship is renewable throughout the student's undergraduate career provided criteria continue to be met. GPA of 2.8 or higher to be competitive.

Application requirements for the Rhona’s Place Foundation Scholarship are:

  • FAFSA
  • Essay
Additional Information: This a competitive program; not all applicants will be selected as recipients. All decisions of Central Scholarship Bureau and the Grant Committees are final.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, renewable for up to three years provided that the student maintains a grade point average of 2.8 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.
