Number of Awards & Eligibility: Ten awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be studying cosmotology.
  3. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited cosmotology program.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

Description: The Minerva Beauty Cosmotology Scholarship is available to current cosmotology students with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the Minerva Beauty Cosmetology Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: Incomplete applications may not be reviewed. Any statements found to be false will result in applicant being disqualified. All scholarships are funded by Minerva Beauty and administered by the Professional Beauty Association Foundation. Applications will be reviewed and scholarships awarded by a committee appointed by the President of the Beauty Professional / NCA section of the PBA. Winning applicants will be notified via mail. All Scholarship awards will be co-payable to student and school and must be applied within twelve months of receipt.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
