In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. students who are attending Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ). Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and must be majoring in pre-law, business, or transportation.

Application requirements for the John Edward Allen Memorial Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • FAFSA by 8/1/2018
  • Recommendation letter
Additional Information: This scholarship is provided by private donors and the FSCJ Foundation Inc. This award is based on the availabilty of funds provided by the donors. The student must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Award Amount: Up to $1,100 annually. The award may be renewable for additional years if the student maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,400.
