Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be an incoming freshman.
  4. Must meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida.
  5. Must have a UNF recalculated high school grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  6. Must declare an interest in majoring in engineering.
  7. Must enroll full time (12 or more credits) each semester and earn 24 or more credits by the end of each academic year.

Additional Information: The University of North Florida's School of Engineering and Department of Construction Management are proud to offer this scholarship sponsored by Northeast Florida Engineers Week Committee. Founded in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers, Engineers Week is celebrated annually by thousands of engineers, engineering students, teachers, and leaders in government and business. Scholarship recipients must: become a member of a student engineering related club or society; maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher for the freshman and sophomore years and 2.5 or higher for the junior and senior years; remain in good standing as a student; comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus; and consent to release grades to the Division of Institutional Advancement for the purpose of reporting to the donor.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
