In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must attend John Jay High School in Wappingers Falls, New York.
  4. Must plan to major in art.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

Description: This award is available to graduating seniors at John Jay High School in Wappingers Falls, New York. Applicants must plan to major in art.

Application requirements for the Steven A. Parascandola Art Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Essay
Additional Information: This scholarship was established by the family of Steven Parascandola in 2008 to honor his character, his talent, and his love of art. An award is provided annually for art students who are graduating from John Jay High School and planning to pursue an art-related major at college.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
