  1. Must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  2. Must reside in Boone, Ogle, or Winnebago county.
  3. Must major in visual arts or a related field.
  4. Must be a graduating high school senior.
  5. This award is for U.S students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Community Foundation of Northern Illinois provides educational resources to students pursuing a degree in the visual arts. Applicants must reside in boone, ogle, or Winnebago counties, and pursuing a degree in visual arts, or visual art education with a GPA of 2.75 or higher, and a graduating high school senior.

Application requirements for the Betty Harlan Memorial Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Applicant must: - Be a graduating senior from a public or private high school; - Reside in Boone, Ogle, or Winnebago County; - Plan to pursue a degree in Visual Arts, Visual Art Education, or Visual Art History; - Have a GPA of at least 2.75/4.0; and - Show involvement in organizations and activities that focus on the visual arts.

Award Amount: Amounts varies.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
