Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two scholarships are awarded.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) is a member organization in the healthcare industry. They offer educational certifications, access to industry research, networking and more. This scholarship supports individuals who demonstrate potential to contribute to MGMA's mission of transforming healthcare.

Application requirements for the MGMA Leaders Scholarship are:

  • Application form.
Additional Information: Scholarship applicants must a student member of MGMA and must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management, including public health, business administration, healthcare administration and other related areas. The scholarships are not intended to support individuals pursuing degrees in medicine, physical therapy, nursing or other clinically related professions. To be eligible to receive a scholarship, students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management. Additional residential or program accreditation requirements may apply.

Award Amount: The winner of the MGMA Leaders Scholarship will receive one award of $5,000 and one award of $2,500. Top winner receives $5,000, 2nd place winner receives $2,500. non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,750.
