Number of Awards & Eligibility: Multiple awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be enrolled in a two-year technical program, a four-year college, or a graduate program.
  3. Must be enrolled full time.
  4. Must have a demonstrated or expressed interest in the plastics industry and must be majoring or taking courses in an area that would be beneficial to a career in the plastics/polymer industry. This would include, but is not limited to, plastics engineering, polymer science, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and industrial engineering.
  5. Must be a resident of Michigan OR attend school in Michigan.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available to U.S. and international undergraduate and graduate students who are residents of Michigan or attending a school in Michigan. Students must have a demonstrated or expressed interest in the plastics industry and be majoring in or taking courses that are beneficial to a career in the plastics/polymer industry.

Additional Information: Applicants must be in good academic standing with their schools. Financial need is considered for most scholarships. All scholarships will be paid directly to the recipients' schools. The SPE Foundation will not award scholarships to applicants who are not qualified and reserves the right to not award a scholarship in a given year if it so chooses.

Award Amount: $3,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
