Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for married U.S. and Canadian undergraduate students who have a strong interest in horticulture. Students must demonstrate financial need and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. If no married students apply, the award goes to an undergraduate student with financial need and family obligations.

Additional Information: Mike and Flo Novovesky have enjoyed more than 30 years of active participation in the floriculture industry. The Novoveskys know first hand the hardships a young couple must overcome when balancing a career and a family. Applicants for this award must demonstrate financial need. Each student who has won a scholarship will be sent a notification letter by U.S. mail. Scholarship decisions will be made by August of each year.

Award Amount: $2,400 annually, non-renewable. All scholarships are provided as cash awards with checks issued jointly in the name of the recipient and the college or institution he/she will be attending in the fall.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,400.
