In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Society of Women Engineers offers scholarships. The scholarships are in the amount of $1,000 each. They go to five women, who are US citizens, sophomores, juniors or seniors planning to study an ABET-accredited program in engineering, technology, or computing in the upcoming academic year.

Additional Information: This scholarship is for U.S. born women engineering students pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering (also ChE, CprE, CS, EE, ME). You must Identify as a female/woman. • Sophomore, junior or senior applicants must be planning to study an ABET-accredited program in engineering, technology, or computing in the upcoming academic year. • You must be planning to attend full time (exceptions are made for reentry and non-traditional applicants). • You must not be fully funded for tuition, fees, and books or equivalent. • Transcripts must be in English

Award Amount: Five winners will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
