Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a native-born or naturalized U.S. citizen.
  3. Must have reached his/her 19th birthday, but not his/her 26th birthday, by the application deadline.
  4. Must play the French horn.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is open to U.S. students who are 19 to 25 years of age. Students must submit a CD of themselves playing the required French horn repertoire.

Application requirements for the NFMC Elizabeth Paris French Horn Award are:

  • Application form
  • Performance CD
  • Membership fee (if needed)
  • $10 application fee
Additional Information: This award honors a past national president of NFMC.

Award Amount: $1,750 annually, non-renewable. In the event of financial shortfalls, advertised award amounts may be adjusted. Applicants would be notified of the award change.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,750.
