Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Glynn County, Georgia.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  4. Must have a strong background and/or course of study in the arts and humanities.
  5. Must be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate college students who are residents of Glynn County in Georgia are eligible to apply for this award. Studens must have a strong background and/or course of study in the arts and humanities.

Application requirements for the Roberta M. Born Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letters (3)
Additional Information: The Roberta M. Born Scholarship is named in honor of Roberta Born, a former GIAHA board member and educator who had a strong understanding of the importance of the arts and the arts in education.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
