Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually depending on the qualifications of the applicants. Last year, 28 awards were provided.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a CNA educational program.
  4. Must be majoring in a field that will lead to certification as a nursing assistant.

Additional Information: Award recipients are notified via phone or email. All funds will be paid directly to the student's school for tuition and fees.

Award Amount: Most awards are provided for full tuition, and are currently estimated in value between $800 and $3,000 for a four to eight week program.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,900.
