Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students. Please note: Students must be legal residents of the United States or hold a valid student visa.
  2. Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university OR be a high school student who has been accepted for enrollment into an undergraduate degree program.
  3. Must pursue an undergraduate nursing degree.
  4. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  5. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. and international students who are enrolled in or have been accepted to an undergraduate nursing program. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the Nurses Make a Difference Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Submissions will be reviewed and selected by a committee. The committee will assess each application according to the quality, thoughtfulness, and relevance of the essay response. The scholarship will be awarded on Sept. 1. The winner will be notified by email or phone. The winning applicant must provide verification of enrollment at an undergraduate school with a nursing program or acceptance into a school with an undergraduate nursing program. The winning applicant must also provide a photo and brief biography to be posted on the Cascade Healthcare Solutions website. Employees or family members of Cascade Healthcare Solutions are not eligible to participate.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable. A check from Cascade Healthcare Solutions will be mailed directly to the student upon verification of enrollment.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
